Sad to hear of Ulf's passing. I also worked with him back in the 90's. He was a man who inspired dedication, as we all knew he cared about us. I've told many stories of the Old Alimak times and remember them fondly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Lundell family.

Our thoughts goes to Sonja and Her family. It was so sad to receive the message about Ulf,s death
I worked together with Ulf for many years. Ulf was the man comming from "bolts and nuts", as we sang at his 50th birthday, and ending up as the CEO of the Alimak US operation. Ulf meant a lot to the succes of the company. He spread a culture in the company built on openness and friendship and he also meant a lot to the fantastic cooperation there was between the US operation and the Swedish manufacturing company. Ulf was the person who could make us all laugh and enyoy the moment. If it was a boring dinner he could change that to be a show becoming the waiter and entertaining us all. He played always a central role during our meetings and other occasions.
Being the person Ulf was he made a lot of friends all over and he was always much appreciated.
It is with deep sorrow we now say farwell to Ulf!

I was so sad to hear that we have lost Ulf. He was my first mentor in business and I owe him so much for what he taught me. He was a great leader at Alimak and most of all he was a fun person to work with and to be around. I always looked forward to my trips to Bridgeport and have so many found memories of our time together. Fishing on his boat, business trips to Sweden, singing Swedish toast songs. I still know all of the words to a couple of Swedish toast songs that I sang with him and our team so many times. I don't see a tower crane or a construction hoist that I don't think of him and his kindness towards me. My thoughts and prays are with his wonderful family.
Warmest Memories,
