Clarence Fellers Obituary
Clarence D. Fellers, 80, of Berne, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home at 12:12 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 1, 1945, in Adams County, Indiana, to the late Harold Vernon Fellers and Thelma (Arnold) Fellers.
Clarence was a 1963 graduate of Adams Central High School and retired from the Indiana State Highway Department, where he served as a supervisor in Monroe, Indiana. He also farmed for many years in Adams County.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Berne. Clarence enjoyed golfing, fishing, and watching NASCAR. He loved spending time with his family and relaxing with his favorite shows, including Grit Channel, The Price is Right, and Fox News.
Survivors include his children, Todd (Elaine) Fellers of Edmond, Oklahoma, Amy (Brent) LeFever of Berne, Cami (Kevin) Sanders of Decatur. Clarence was a proud grandfather to 22 grandchildren, Amber (Scott) Steiner of Berne, Andrew (Julie) Dull of Berne, Natalie (Adam) Grote of Angola, Taylor (Brodie) LeFever of Hartford City, Cari (Matt) Krawiec of Glenpool, OK, Malarie (Matt) Jackson of Edmond, OK, Matthew (Whitney) Fellers of Edmond, OK, Madison (Joseph) Grisko of Sewel, NJ, Audrey (Chris) Hurst of Decatur, Andi (Jordan) Stephenson of Decatur, Nate Schultz of Decatur, and Nick Schultz of Fort Wayne. He was also blessed with 18 great-grandchildren: Gabriel Steiner, Grady Steiner, Gerrick Steiner, Graylynn Steiner, Vivienne Dull, Camden Dull, Sadie Dull, Kelby Grote, Koe Grote, Aida LeFever, Archie LeFever, Emma Fellers, Hadley Fellers, Lucy Fellers, Adalyn Jackson, Tenley Jackson, Amelia Krawiec, Huston Hurst, Carter Mae, Tatum Stephenson, and Laikyn Grisko-with another great-granddaughter Grisko expected soon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Lester Fellers and Darlene Galloway; and a great-grandson, Cole Dull.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember Clarence from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, located at 100 N. Washington St., Geneva, Indiana. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Werst officiating; friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Geneva.
