Debra Parks Obituary

Debra Ann Parks, 70, of Churubusco, passed away on August 3, 2025, at her home. She was born on September 29, 1954, in Columbia City, to the late Herbert and Virginia (Fletcher) Bulmer. Debra was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Debra was known for her warmth and kindness. Her love for her family was profound and shaped the remarkable woman she was. Debra spent her professional life working with Trans Cat in a coordinator role. After her retirement, she devoted her time to her favorite hobbies, which included crafts, painting, diamond art, and playing bingo. Debra also found solace and joy in her faith, actively participating in Christ Community Church. Debra is survived by her loving husband, Richard Parks; her children, Jerry (Sherri) Partin, Jr., and Angela (Ben) Partin-Johnston; a sister, Peggy (Jim) Ryan; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Terry Bulmer, and a sister, Judy Snider. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco. Memorials may be directed to Christ Community Church. Sheets & Childs Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
