Dianna L. Stewart, 71, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, formerly of Van Buren, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2025, at Majestic Care of West Allen. Born on March 18, 1954, in Anderson, Indiana, Dianna was the daughter of Ruth A. Faulk Smith and Harry A. Smith. She spent the majority of her life in Van Buren, Indiana-a town she dearly loved-before recently relocating to Fort Wayne due to health concerns. A devoted homemaker, Dianna dedicated her life to caring for her family, which meant the world to her. Her kindness, special spirit, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving brother, Floyd Smith, Sr. (Wife, Sue) of Florida, and her cherished nephew, Floyd Smith Jr. of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, James "Andrew" Stewart, who passed away at the age of 17 in 2000, and by her former husband, William "Bill" Ford Stewart. Dianna never stopped longing to be reunited with her son, and now, in eternal peace, they are together once more. Their reunion brings comfort to those who remain and serves as a testament to the enduring bond between a mother and her child. Viewing hours will take place at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home, located at 201 W. Main Street, Van Buren on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A graveside service will follow in her honor at the Van Buren Cemetery in Van Buren, Indiana, with Reverend Steve Rogers officiating.
