Pamela J. Flannery

Pamela J. Flannery, 75, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born July 3, 1949 in Wabash, she was the daughter of Samuel Reynolds and Jo (McCune) Gore. Pam graduated from Columbia City Joint High School with the Class of 1967. On March 9, 1968, she married the love of her life, Alex Flannery in Claypool. Pam helped manage the B.P. Lassus gas station in Columbia City, Larwill Products and had retired from Biomet in Warsaw 2015. She had been a member of B.T. Roberts Free Methodist, and attended Sonrise Church with her daughter and granddaughter. Pam was very kind and loving and touched so many lives. She had an open door to help others and would put them before herself. She loved supporting her grandchildren in their activities, thrifting, camping, watching Heartland and NASCAR. Pam is survived by her daughters, Amanda Flannery, Jodi (Gary) Sims and Jan Sroufe; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Greg (Marsha) Reynolds, Martin (Rene) Reynolds; sisters, Christy Miller and Kathy 'Kate' (Bob) Reynolds; and friend, Lonnie Halsey. Along with her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her husband Alex Flannery in 2010 and brother, Steve Reynolds; brother-in-law, Russell Miller; nephew, Timmy Reynolds and great-niece, Hayley Reynolds. Visitation will be 1 to 5 pm, Sunday, April 6, 2025 at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Funeral services will be 10 am Monday at the funeral home with visitation an hour prior. Pastor Fred Stayton of Sonrise Church will be officiating. Burial will take place at Greenhill Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside Alex. Memorial donations may be given in her memory to Riley Hospital for Children.
