Sharon Winn Obituary

Sharon A. Winn, 78 of Warren, Indiana, formerly of Fort Dodge, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Heritage Pointe of Warren. Sharon was born on July 22, 1947, in Fort Dodge, IA, to Merlin L. and Wilma Irene (Barber) Hoover. She graduated from Fort Dodge High School and continued her education to become an LPN. She married Raymond "Ray" Winn on September 27, 1968. Sharon worked for hospitals and for family practices during her career. She enjoyed going camping and riding the motorcycle with Ray. Her favorite place to ride and camp was in Colorado. Sharon was very proud of her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Gregory Winn who passed in 2011. Loving survivors include her husband of 56 years, Ray Winn of Warren, IN, daughter, Dawn (Todd) Donnelly, grandchildren, Kallie Bacon and Bailey Curry, great grandchildren, Taylor, Knox, and Benson "Squish", great great grandchild, Byntlee, and lifelong best friend, Cindy Pogge of Belmond, IA. A celebration of life service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church located at 1111 5th Ave. N. Fort Dodge, IA 50501 on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 1:30pm to 4pm.
