A. Griffith Obituary

A. Paul (Ducky) Griffith, 95, of Wyomissing, passed away Saturday, August 2nd, at Country Meadows. Ducky was born in Reading, on June 29, 1930, a son of the late Anna (Dries) and Adam Griffith. He was the widower of G. Dawn (Heffner) Griffith. They were married on May 5th, 1951. Ducky graduated from Muhlenberg High School. He served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt in the Korean War. Ducky was awarded Bronze Star Medal in 1953. Ducky worked in the beverage industry for 45 years; 38 with 7UP, retired from Pepsi Cola in 1992. He was a life member of Reinholds VFW; Ducky loved his sports, a die hard fan of the old Brooklyn Dodgers, Phila. Eagles and Atlanta Braves. Enjoyed many years of fishing with friends and family in Delaware. Ducky is survived by two daughters, Linda Griffith and Kathy Snyder. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Jake, Corinne and Dillon and a great grandchild Jordan. Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. The Sanders Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1501 N. 11th Street, Reading, is in charge of the arrangements. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.
