Born in McKeesport, PA, Andy was the son of the late Frank J. Peclet and the late Margaret (Menhart) Peclet. He was a 1971 graduate of Duquesne High School.
Andy began his career working in the Homestead steel mill from 1970 to 1982. He later worked as a driver for Thrift Drug in Pittsburgh for five years before advancing into the long-term care pharmacy industry. Andy was a 3rd degree mason with the former McKeesport Lodge # 641 F&AM. He was an active member and former chief elder of the Hungarian Reformed Church in Duquesne, PA.
Andy had many passions in life. He was an antique car enthusiast, an avid hunter and fisherman, and a talented woodcarver. He enjoyed restoring vintage radios and had a love for heights, especially hot air ballooning and flying. He also coached baseball for elementary/middle school kids. He had a deep love of Alaska and enjoyed visiting the area. Above all, he adored dogs-especially his beloved Doberman, Caesar, and German Shepherd, Abbey.
Those who knew Andy remember him as a hardworking, trustworthy, and caring man with a great sense of humor. He generously gave his time and carpentry skills to help others.
