Bonnie Leap Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Bonnie Leap (Nauman) of Stroudsburg who passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at her residence. She was a devoted and loving Mom, Grammy, Great Grammy, and friend. Her husband, Donnie Leap Sr., predeceased her in 2020. Bonnie was more of a private person and loved being at home, spending time with her closest, dear friends, and always loved spending time with her family. Bonnie was born in East Stroudsburg, PA. She was the daughter of Irmgard S. Hildebrand and Carl A. Nauman and one (1) sibling, a brother, Bruce Nauman all of which predeceased her. She is survived by her loving children: Bryan Benninger married to Alana & their children Dylan Stager and Ava Benninger; Shawn Benninger married to Jeanie & their children Rowan, Colby, & Harper Benninger; Teresa (Sis) Lozo married to Todd; Donnie (Ub) Leap Jr. married to Rae & their children; Jordan Lebel is married to Jake and they have three children, Dawson, Cohyn, and Bearon Lebel and Conner Hill who was recently married to Jason; Craig Leap, his children Dylan Koffel & Katie Leap. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly. Bonnie worked in several retail stores throughout her working career and has been retired for years prior to her passing. She was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church located in East Stroudsburg. Bonnie was an avid baseball, NASCAR, and football fan! She loved cheering for her favorite teams or a specific player or driver. Additionally, she loved to watch her daily soap operas, but nothing meant more to her than her kids and grandkids. She poured her heart into her family, and her legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty will live on through all of us. Her passing has left us all in shock and heart broken. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. At the request of the deceased, she wanted a private viewing for only family and her closest friends. Bonnie will be cremated, and a small, intimate gathering will take place at Buena Vista cemetery in Brodheadsville. Anyone wishing to express their condolences by sending a sympathy card, they can be mailed to 1456 Brislin Road, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Flowers or such can be sent to Kresge's Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville, PA 18322. Kresge Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. www.kresgefuneralhome.com
