Carolynn Schafft Obituary

Carolynn "Carol" Schafft (Howey), of East Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, at Whitestone Care Center in Stroudsburg. She transitioned into public service, working with the Monroe County Commissioners in the Voter Registration Office and later retired from the Prothonotary's Office. She brought dedication, grace, and commitment to every role she took on throughout her life. Carol will be lovingly remembered by a sister, Joeann E. Lance, sister-in-law, Kathy Simon; brother-in-law, Edward Vogel; and several nieces, nephews and their children. She was also preceded in death by sister, Barbara Vogel; brothers-in-laws, Frank Simon and Michael Lance and nephew Vincent Bruno.
