Charles A. Barebo

Charles A. Barebo, 90, of Upper Milford Twp., passed away at home on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. He was the husband of Theresa L. (Bauer) Barebo. Born in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Charles and Anna E. (Hency) Barebo. He was raised a member of the First Church of God and sang professionally in a gospel quartet accompanied by his sister on piano. Chuck was a proud Air Force Veteran and illustrated operations manuals of fighter jets. Chuck received his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Evansville University. He coached church basketball teams and with his wife Terry headed the civil rights movement in Medfield, Mass in the mid-sixties. He was President of the Utah Valley chapter of the United Way. Chuck and Terry were the proud founders and operators of the family business, now known as Otterbine Barebo Inc. in Vera Cruz. His work history also included being the plant manager of three factories and an engineer with Corning Glass. He enjoyed his annual rides on his Harley in the desert, playing and watching football and golfing. He was an accomplished painter and had a fondness for singing and art, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and the family cookouts. Survivors: Wife and life partner, Theresa; Children, Charles V. Barebo and his wife, Lorraine, Christopher V. Barebo and his wife, Dee, and Carla V. Ott and her husband, Glenn; and 5 Grandchildren- Robyn, Charles W., Daniel, Ashley, and Nash. He was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Wilson. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Street, Emmaus, PA. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.
