Charlotte Althouse Obituary

Charlotte M. Althouse (Young) age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday October 3,2025. Born on July 3,1943 in Pottstown, PA, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy Young. Charlotte enjoyed living the quiet country life and worked at Berks Heim for many years. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Playing cards, going on vacations and visiting many casinos with her husband and dining out with family and friends brought her pleasure. A devoted animal lover, Charlotte cherished the companionship of her pets throughout the years. She will be remembered by her children: Rosie Robb, Victoria Free, Ronald Fisher and Tom Fisher; and by her 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She also held a place in the lives of her seven stepchildren, along with their spouses, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Charlotte was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clarence Althouse, her parents, siblings, stepdaughter and three great grandchildren, and by her cherished fur baby Becky. May Charlotte's memories bring peace to all who knew and loved her. She did not wish to have any services.
