Christopher W. Davis

Christopher Davis, 58, of Bethlehem, passed away suddenly on July 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born October 7, 1966, in Reading, he was the son of William and Nancy (Zakeski) Davis of Bethlehem Township. Chris was a proud graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1985, where he lettered three years in Basketball, and went on to earn his B.S. in Social Relations from Lehigh University in 1989. During his college years, he made lifelong friendships as a dedicated member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. For 31 years, Chris served the community as an Adult Probation Officer for Northampton County, retiring in 2021. After retirement, he happily took on the role of starter at Riverview Golf Course, where he worked with his brother, Scott. He shared his friendly spirit and love of golf with everyone he met. An avid golfer and fisherman, Chris embraced life with humor, kindness, and an easygoing charm that endeared him to so many. Survivors: In addition to his loving parents, he wil be lovingly remembered by his brother Scott Davis and his wife Carol of Bethlehem Township, and by his dear companion, Michelle Lambert and her boxer Max, who stood by his side through life's many seasons. He is also survived by his loving nieces, Lisa and Emily. As his wish to all he leaves behind: "Have a drink on me and have a laugh." Services: A Celebration of Chris's life will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of the service.
