You were my Hero. Never meet someone quite like you. Living on your own blind for over 40 years and could prepare a salad
Restaurant style was amazing.
Also doing all your household chores and cooking for your self
Total fascinating. I will never forget all those grocery shopping adventures with you and Jill and the fantastic lunches you took us on. Not to mention the beautiful Christmas´s spent with you and Raymond and Uncle jack.
I love you and will
Miss you to the Moon and back.
You were an amazing man and I am so happy to have had you in my life.
Love you the Jackal RIP

I had the privilege of knowing Don from working at the Lehigh County Courthouse where, every day, he was so cheerful, friendly and welcoming to everyone. Many years later, I met and worked with his daughter, Jill, who shared those same qualities. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May Don rest in heavenly peace now.

I remember Don from working at Martin Guitar during the 70's, when he ran the cafeteria. He was a great person, always friendly and in good spirits. I enjoyed interacting with him during breaks. He'll be greatly missed.

It was an honor to know such a courageous man. I knew Uncle Don my entire life and remember when he lost his sight. He never complained about being blind and had an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor. You will be missed!
