Doris Doster Obituary

Doris M. Doster, 89, of Hellertown (Northampton County), passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Valley Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Springfield Township. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert P. Doster. Born in Fountain Hill on January 11, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Hahn and Florence (Mindler) Hahn. Doris worked at Hanka Pierogies, Hellertown and then as a garment worker for many years at the former SureFit, Hellertown until retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo, solving circle word puzzles, watching westerns, and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies. She is survived by her children: Gary L. Fox Jr. and wife Gail of Hellertown; Joanne M. Severn and husband Joseph of Hellertown; and Keith A. Fox of Hellertown. She is also survived by her sisters, Marjorie Hahn and Carol Leith, both of Hellertown; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Janice and Pauline Fretz. Services will be private. Online expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.heintzelmancares.com.
