Edmond Atiyeh Obituary

Edmond Hanna Atiyeh, 66, of Telford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at St. Luke's Grand View Hospital in Sellersville. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Andrea Lee (Waring) Atiyeh, with whom he shared more than 35 years of marriage. Born on May 22, 1959, in Ras Beirut, Lebanon, Edmond was the son of the late Hanna and Salma (Azar) Atiyeh. Edmond graduated from the National Protestant College in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1975. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, in 1980, followed by a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, in 1991. He successfully defended his thesis: "Random Growth in Two Dimensional Hexagonal Mesh". He was employed by Dematic Corporation as a Senior Operations Manager. Known for his infectious smile, genuine kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends, Edmond gave his love freely. His legacy will live on in the way he made people feel through his affection, humor, and generosity. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Alexandra Lee Atiyeh and her husband, Alexander Ryan Knipe, of Harleysville, John Edmond Atiyeh and his partner Amy Korin Jacobson, of San Francisco, and Luke Edmond Atiyeh, of New York City. He is also survived by his siblings Raymonda Hanna Atiyeh and Rony Hanna Atiyeh, and his grandson, Charles Edmond Knipe. He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Hanna Atiyeh. Services will be held privately for the family. To honor Edmond's memory, donations may be made to the Grady Health Foundation, focused on improving outcomes for patients with brainstem hemorrhages. Yesterday

Edmond and David and I shared so many fun times when we were young....a real sweet guy. May his family find comfort in their faith.

I always enjoyed working with Ed; his humble demeanor and inquisitive nature made working with him a pleasure. He will be missed.
On the lighter side, we always got a chuckle out of Ed introducing himself every time he spoke up in a group conversation even when we knew him and knew his voice, "This is Ed - Ed Atiyeh from Eastern Ops".
