Elaine M. Campbell

Elaine M. Campbell, 87, of North Catasauqua, died Friday July 11, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Campbell. Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Shelanick) Hudy. After graduating from Whitehall High School, Elaine worked for Mack Trucks in their accounts payable department for over 30 years before retiring. She was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church of Allentown. Elaine was an accomplished vocalist and performer. She began her piano and voice studies in the Allentown area at an early age. Elaine was a soloist while attending high school and later at many weddings and community events. She landed many leading roles for the Allentown Municipal Opera Company as well as in shows such as The Sound of Music, Oklahoma and The Unsinkable Molly Brown. Elaine also enjoyed entertaining audiences as a part of the Touch of Class trio and in the Allentown Band. Above all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be missed by many. Surviving is her daughter Heather Nielsen and husband Kirk, son Troy Campbell, grandchildren Adriena and Zach Geiser, Madison and Bryan Seidel, and Michael Marano and fiancée Jackie Salg, Jordan Nielsen, Payton Campbell, Brynn Campbell, great grandchildren Bowie, Ila and Brooks, sister Marianne Demko-Lange, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Margaret Simon. Her calling hour will be held from 10-11am Monday July 28, 2025, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. A memorial service will be held at 11am Monday in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown.
