Elizabeth I. Gillen

Elizabeth Gillen, born on October 28, 1997, in Nyack, NY passed away in the arms of her loved ones on September 30, 2025 at her childhood home in Kunkletown, PA. Elizabeth was a truly exceptional and angelic young woman who was beloved by anyone that got to know her. She filled the world with her wonderful music and filled our lives with memories that we will all cherish for the rest of our lives. We ask that everyone remembers her kindness, intelligence, and beauty. We can honor her by treating one another with the gentleness and consideration that she showed to everyone she met. Elizabeth is survived by her loving parents Roena and Joe, step-mother Flordeliza, sister Anna, and brother Joey. Elizabeth was also beloved by her boyfriend Nate. Elizabeth was the cherished grand-daughter of Irina and Innokentii. Elizabeth was also blessed with a wonderful group of aunts, uncles, and cousins that truly loved her. From a young age, Elizabeth had a true passion and talent for singing. All throughout her life she won multiple awards and was constantly playing gigs all throughout the area. Not only was she a talented musician, but she was a truly exceptional student that graduated second in her high school class. This led her to earn a degree in computer science from Arcadia University. That was followed by a successful career in software engineering. She excelled in everything she did, but all of that paled in comparison to the person that she was and how she made us all feel. Elizabeth was the light of our lives. Those who knew Elizabeth will remember her for her beautiful smile, angelic singing voice, and for the truly kind and gentle being that she was. A viewing will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Services to honor Elizabeth will follow at 12:00 PM.
