In loving memory of my cousin Elizabeth Mooney. She was a big part of my life since I was a little girl. She was always there for me and gave me good advice. I loved her and will miss her. May she rest in peace.

This picture Elizabeth had sent to me. It was Christmas 1985. She wrote Santa Claus was Jim. Then it was her with Maureen, Kevin, and Colleen.

I met Elizabeth in New York when I moved there, and we met at the Salvation Army residence back in 1969 or 1970. We quickly became friends even after she moved to an apartment. After I moved to Michigan, we stayed in contact by phone or letters and cards. I was able to meet up with her and her daughter on a visit to New York with my husband and daughters. She always wanted to visit me here in Michigan but unfortunately, that didn't happen. I will miss you and think of you often. Sending prayers and hugs to the family.
