Estelle Weisser Obituary

Estelle Betty (Grabowski) Weisser, 92, formerly of Muhlenberg Township, died July 21, 2025, at Mifflin Center, Cumru Township, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Donald Lloyd Weisser, who died in 1993. Born August 3, 1932, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Grabowski and Evelyn (Rutkowski) Sowers. Estelle was employed for many years as a candy packer at Luden's Candy. After retirement, she worked as an aide at Northeast Daycare well into her 80s. She was a devoted mother and cherished grandmother, a special soul whose love was felt in every warm embrace and ever sweet "schleck" she so joyfully gave. She was the mother of Cindy D. (Weisser), wife of David J. Roth of Muhlenberg Township; and the late Sandra Brown and Edward Schuellen. Estelle was the loving grandmother of five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her five brothers and four sisters. The family of Estelle would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of unit 300 at Mifflin Center for the excellent care they provided. Services will be private, at the convenience of the family. Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Helping Harvest or Humane Pennsylvania.
