Florence Rutt Obituary

Florence M. Rutt, 91, of Bangor, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2025. She was the beloved Wife of Clayton R. Rutt. Born July 29, 1933, the daughter of the late John and Florence Miller. She lived a life marked by love, warmth and easy-going spirit.

Florence is survived by her 4 children, Clayton Rutt and his wife Elaine, Shirley Reeser, Dora Deemer and her husband Tim, Larry Rutt and his wife Debbie. Her grandchildren, Christine Pysher, Scott Reeser, Lori Laubach, Jason Rutt and Meredith McCracken and she was blessed with many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Richard Miller and many nieces and nephews.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband Clayton Rutt and her son-in-law Allen Reeser, her parents and many sisters and brothers.

A memorial service to honor her memory will be private at the convenience of the family. The Bensing Thomas Funeral home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg is in charge of her cremation arrangements.
