Frederick H. Harman

Frederick H. Harman, 80, of Bechtelsville, formerly of Long Island, husband of Joanne T. (Farley) Harman, passed away Sunday March 2, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. Born in Astoria, NY, he was the son of the late Wilbert and Mary D. (Balog) Harman. He was employed on Long Island as a structural mechanic building military aircraft at Northrop Grumman and other aerospace companies. Frederick proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He devoutly attended church at St. Columbkill Parish in Boyertown. Frederick was a former member of the Marine Corps League in Massapequa, NY and North Babylon, NY. He was also an avid Islanders fan and season ticket holder. Surviving along with his wife are his brother-in-law Dennis and wife Barbara Farley and sister-in-law Patricia and husband Bill Ruzenski; numerous nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday March 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Columbkill Roman Catholic Church, 200 Indian Spring Rd., Boyertown, PA 19512. Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 9:00-10:15 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC., 1020 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, PA 19525.
