George F. Miller

George F. Miller, of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 10, 2025, with his family by his side. He was 71 years old. Born February 25, 1954, in Norristown, he was the son of the late Franics and Betty (nee Pigeon) Miller and the beloved husband of Jane (nee Shifflet) Miller with whom he shared over 35 years of marriage. In Jane's words, "George was such a good man and would be there for anyone who needed him. He was a great husband and an amazing father. I always said God sent him to me for a reason. We enjoyed life with our family and friends." George was an avid Harley Davidson rider and he and Jane went on many bike runs with friends. He worked for United States Roofing for over 30 years as a foreman, after retirement he worked at Professional Roof Services as an inspector. In addition to his wife, Jane, George is survived by his two children; Kelly Yost Garvey (Jay), and Brian Yost (Danielle), two grandchildren; Tony and Benny, as well as his sister; Theresa Shore. He was preceded in death by his brother and three sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to George's Life Celebration on Friday August 15, his family will receive guests from 9 AM to 10:50 AM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000.
