Geraldine Hitch Obituary

Geraldine M. Hitch, 92 of Allentown passed away peacefully at Phoebe Home Allentown on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.Born in Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Christina (Lemke) Nelson. She was the wife of the late Harvey E. Hitch. Geraldine worked as a seamstress for many years in a variety of local factories before retiring. Geraldine loved to fish and enjoyed traveling in her motorhome to Mexico. She was an avid knitter and loved to sew. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Geraldine is survived by sons Keith Hitch and wife Vicky, Keven Hitch and wife Gayle, daughters Linda Weist and husband Eric, Sharon Entrot and husband David, Wendy Milhime and husband John, brother Roy Nelson and wife Cathi, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister and 2 brothers as well as her daughter Bonnie Wexler. There will be a visitation on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, PA. from 12-1 pm. A funeral service officiated by Rev. Sharon Entrot will commence in the parlor at 1pm. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made directly to Brookside Community Church, 3800 Brookside Road, Macungie, PA. 18062.
