Glenn Yerger Obituary

Glenn P. Yerger, 84, of Lansdale, PA (formerly of Royersford PA), passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024. Born in Upper Providence Twp., he was the son of the late Paul and Francis Yerger. He was a graduate of Phoenixville High School. Glenn had worked at Jerry's Market in Royersford and Landis Supermarket in Schwenksville. He enjoyed building and flying model planes, taking bike rides, classic cars and walking his dogs. Glenn also belonged to many bowling leagues and had bowled a perfect 300 score. He is survived by two nephews, Mark A. Smith (Evelyn) of Royersford and Richard A. Smith (Jennifer) of Bainbridge, a niece Joanne M. Powell (Brian) of Downingtown, and great nieces and nephews Eric Smith (Ellie), Tyler Smith, Victoria Anderson (Kevin), Kyle Smith (Brandy) and Kayla Powell, great - great nephew Karter Anderson, and Brother-in-Law George A Smith. He was preceded in death by his sister Nancy Y Smith. A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at Green Tree Church of the Brethren Oaks PA. Burial will be held privately prior to the service with Pastor Rod O'Donnell officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Green Tree Church of the Brethren 1078 Egypt Road, Oaks PA 19456.
