Harry Latham Obituary

Harry L. Latham, Jr., 97, of Lansdale, died Friday, May 30, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor (Lamont) Latham. Born July 16, 1927 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harry and Sarah (Lindsay) Latham. Mr. Latham worked as an electrical engineer for many years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Lansdale. Harry was an avid hunter, and he enjoyed building rockets and model ships. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his nieces, Barbara Kapplemann of Green Brook, NJ, Kathleen G. Moyer (Stephen) of Perkasie, and Judy Kehr (Jeffrey) of Souderton; and his nephew, Bruce Weikel (Grechen) of Perkasie. He was preceded in death by his son, Harry Latham III. Relatives and friends may call after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.

Harry, you failed to make your battle stations during general quarters. You are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country.
