Helen G. Correll

Helen G. Correll, 79, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital- Monroe Campus. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Andrew A. and Meriam (Young) Schnettler. She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth G. Correll who passed away in 2002. Helen was an active member of The Effort United Methodist Church. She worked as a commercial loan clerk and supervisor in banking for thirteen years. Afterwards, she worked as a record supervisor for the Sarasota YMCA Safe Children Coalition for ten years. She enjoyed baking and sewing and would often sew garments for her family and loved ones. One of her biggest passions was painting ceramics making beautiful pieces of art. Most of all, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Helen will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and church congregation. Helen is survived by her daughters: Melinda Knitter and her husband, Jefferey of Saylorsburg; and Deborah Parratt and her husband, Craig of Seneca, SC; sisters: Dorothy Baker of Cape Coral, FL; and Sharon Johnson of Lebanon, NJ; granddaughter, Bethany Knitter. She was preceded in death by her loving husband and her parents. Services will be scheduled for a later date and at the convenience of the family.
