Its been 4 months since your passing. There are so many things Id love to be able to tell you and ask you. You where a smart man. Now that you aren't here, I realize more how intelligent you really where. Im fortunate to be left with our amazing children, for them I will always love you for. I sincerely wish you would have taken care of yourself. It mattered in the end. Please watch over us and guide us in the right direction. I sleep with the last shirt you wore, it gives me a feeling of security and love

So very sad, I've known Hoppy since 1987 when I began taking cars to his garage for inspection. Quite a friendship grew and we began working on many things together. He always have a good sense of humor and was always full of surprises some good some not so good. Like when he asked to go with to get a car out of the city. When we got in there it was difficult to get the car out of a parking space with the tow truck, we tried to started and it ran. He asked if I would describe it instead of towing it, so I agreed and began driving out of the city while he followed in the tow truck. I came up to a red light and mother sitting there waiting first in line when I suddenly felt something hitting the car from behind, when I looked in the mirror it was Hoppy in the tow truck and he began trying to push a car forward. I did not file being pushed into the intersection so I put the car in reverse and began pushing backwards. The truck being a lot stronger continued pushing me forward as I began smoking the tires trying to push backwards. There was a lot of noise and a lot of smoke and luckily the light turned green. When I looked in the mirror I could see Hoppy laughing as we continued on. We had a lot of fun times like this over the years, like when he Rich and I and a small demolition derby in his backyard at two in the morning... I will always have these good memories and never forget him. Rest in peace my friend.

To Hoppy's family, so sorry to hear of Hoppy's passing. When I lived in Fleetwood Hoppy worked on my Trucks and I got to meet His wife Kim there as well.
I used to work with Hoppy's father Howard.
May you find the peace that only Jesus brings
