In 1999, Jacque immigrated to the United States with her young daughter, embracing a new life with courage and determination. Though she left behind her homeland, she carried with her its values, traditions, and enduring love.

One of her favorite scriptures, Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" - was not only a life verse but a reflection of how she lived each day.
