James J. Krause Sr.

James J. Krause, Sr., 77, beloved husband of Sandra Krause, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph Edward and Jennie (Antonucci) Krause. James enjoyed fishing, cooking, and reading in his spare time. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, and was a heavy equipment operator during that time. But most of all, he loved the time spent with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife Sandra, are his sons, James J. Krause, Jr., and Shawn Krause; grandchildren Lacey, Alexander, Dahlia, and Avery Krause. He was predeceased by his grandson, Brayden Krause. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LLC. (711 North Franklin Street, Pottstown, PA 19464). A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will take place following the service at Highland Memorial Park.
