Jane C. Young

Jane C. Young, 84, of Easton, PA, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, in Northampton Post Acute. Born January 9, 1941, in West Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Francis L. "Fuzz" and Muriel A. "Moe" Hans Hiney. Jane was the loving wife of Bruce S. Young, who passed away July 10, 2018. Jane is survived by her three loving children, Scott (Caroline) of Pittsburgh, PA, Kimberly (Kenneth) Grube, and youngest son, Mark. She was blessed to have five wonderful grandchildren, Jimmy, Josh (Melissa) and Jordan (Katrina) Stackhouse, Jessica and Justin Young; great-grandchildren, Zackery (Grace), Olivia, Rylee, Chace, Avery and Adylee; and bonus great-grandchildren, Riley, Nonnie and Weston. She is also survived by her only sister, Barbara Hummel, of Asbury Chandler Estate, Pen Argyl. Jane instilled in her three children the value of kindness, love and helping others and always putting family first. Jimmy, Josh and Jordan were more like children then her grandchildren. Jane also carried the deep memory of her late husband and made sure his memory remained close to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's hearts. Grandma often kept Pap alive by sharing stories of their many years together in Canada. Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma will be missed more than words can express but her spirit lives on in the heart of those who loved her. To know her was to love her. Her door was always open, and her ears were always willing to listen without judging. Per Jane's request, there will be no services.
