Jeanne Wolfe Obituary

Jeanne Freed Wolfe, 96, of Lansdale, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late William H. Wolfe. Born in Souderton, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Evelyn Freed. Jeanne was a 1947 graduate of Souderton Area High School. Over the years, she was employed at Interstate Hosiery, James Spring and Wire, Hunter Spring, and K.D. Markley Elementary School. Jeanne enjoyed playing bingo, pinochle, and Pokino with friends. She also loved cooking, knitting, shopping, and volunteering her time at General Wayne Elementary School. She is survived by her two sons, Gary Wolfe and Jeffrey Wolfe; her granddaughter, Susan Calow, and her husband, Ken; and her great-grandchildren, Joey, Emma, Zacchary, and Gabriella. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeanne's memory to St. Mary's Center, 701 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446.
