Jennie A. Miller, 78, of Easton, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Easton Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Palmer Township. She was the beloved wife of the late John E.F. Miller, Jr. with whom she shared 61 years of marriage before his passing on January 17. Born in Nazareth, PA, Jennie was a daughter of the late Frank C. Horack, Sr. and Esther M. (Trumbauer) Heimer.
She worked as a health aide for the Lopatcong Center, where her kindness touched the lives of many. A woman of many talents, Jennie found joy in caring for her mother-in-law, crocheting beautiful gifts for family and friends, cooking hearty meals, and baking delicious treats that always delighted those around her. She also enjoyed the quiet pleasure of word searches, often sharing this passion with her loved ones.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Jennie Bauder of Easton, John Miller of Easton, Nancy Van Horn (Marc) of Easton, Tommy Miller (Wendy) of Kunkletown; grandchildren: Jennifer, Christopher, Amanda, John, Jr., Randy, Shelby, John, IV, Tommy, Alissa, Jake, Brett, Alyssa, Ashlee, Chairtey, Ricky, Jr., Gauge, Krista, Shauna, Brittany, Marc Jr., Olivia and Taylor; great-grandchildren: Ethan, Haylee, John,V, Malachi, Maddelyn, Owen, Kayden, Brooklyn, Ivy, Aaliyah, Alexander, Aiden, Mason, Kaizen, Renesmee, Chase and Asher; sister: Frances Vosper of Allentown; brother: Frank C. Horack, Jr. of Kresgeville; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, John, she was predeceased by a son: Ricky A.J. Miller; asister: Esther I. "Tootie" Bruch and brothers: Paul B., George R. Sr. and Henry E. Horack.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, April 3, 2025 in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2165 Community Drive - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to call on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Palmer Township.
