John Laufik Obituary

John B. Laufik, 58, of North Whitehall Township, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, at The Atrium of Allentown. Born in Allentown, September 19, 1966, he was the son of the late Frederick B. and Sophie (Kosht) Laufik. John was employed in the Good Shepherd Work Experience Program for several years. He was a graduate of Mercy Day School, and a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, (Egypt) Whitehall. Survivors: Cousin & guardian, Kathy M. Albert and her husband, Brian with whom he resided; aunt & uncle, Evelyn J. and Bernard T. Slusaw of Coplay; cousin, Gregory M. Slusaw and his wife Kathy, cousin, Donna (Kosht) Laux and her husband Allan, cousin, Gloria (Sipics) Hutchins and her husband Joe, cousin, Barbara (Sipics) Ebner and her husband Richard, cousin, Frank Sipics Jr. and his wife Rita. Service: A private graveside service will be held at Assumption B.V. M. Cemetery, Northampton. No calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercy School for Special Learning c/o the funeral home, P.O. Box # 196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.
