John Richards Obituary

John W. Richards, Jr., 82, of Hatfield, died Friday, March 28, 2025. Born January 1, 1943 in Upper Darby, PA, he was a son of the late Clare (Gilkin) and John W. Richards, Sr. Mr. Richards was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed as a computer technician for many years, retiring from Unisys. Survivors include his brother, James Richards of Hatfield; sister, Maureen P. Reynier (Lon) of Spring Hill, FL; four nieces and nephews, Michael, Christopher, Audrey, and Steven; and two great-nieces, Gillian and Madison. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.

John, you have made your final march down the lonely dusty trail. You are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
