One of the finest straight up men in the world. Dependable and honest: second to none. If John considered you a friend, you were blessed with the most honorable friendships to exist. I myself could not attain the high mark of John's standards. Yet, he considered me a friend. John is now in a place where he will be nothing less than 2nd in command. Glow brightly friend.

Although I didn’t know John personally, I want to let his wife and family know that I am so very proud of the service he gave in Vietnam as well as his other services. John is a true hero in my book. He, along with my late husband and so many others served in a war that should have never happened. God Bless John and all of his fellow soldiers.

To my sister and her family, John, dad, grandfather and great-father is now at peace and he will never be forgotten but will always be with you all in spirit and will be watching over all of you everyday from Heaven. He sure loved his family and always loved when everyone was together and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren always put a big smile on his face when they came to see him. You will always have great memories onto share with each other as the days go by.
