One of the finest straight up men in the world. Dependable and honest: second to none. If John considered you a friend, you were blessed with the most honorable friendships to exist. I myself could not attain the high mark of John's standards. Yet, he considered me a friend. John is now in a place where he will be nothing less than 2nd in command. Glow brightly friend.

Although I didn’t know John personally, I want to let his wife and family know that I am so very proud of the service he gave in Vietnam as well as his other services. John is a true hero in my book. He, along with my late husband and so many others served in a war that should have never happened. God Bless John and all of his fellow soldiers.
