Kathleen Burdek Obituary

Kathleen A. Burdek, 93, of Easton, PA, passed away Sunday, August 3rd, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem, PA. Kathleen was born in Jersey City, NJ, on April 30, 1932, a daughter of the late Charles P. and Jennie F. (Kopycinski) Malejko. She was employed as a bank clerk at Newton Trust Co. in Newton, NJ, until retiring in 1986. Kathleen was a 1949 graduate of Rahway High School in Rahway, NJ. She was a member of the Easton Hospital Senior Circle. Kathleen was a member of St. Rocco's Catholic Church in Martins Creek, PA. Kathleen is survived by six nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Charles Malejko. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, Martins Creek, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
