Kenneth Grater Obituary

Kenneth C. Grater Jr., age 61, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at home. Born on September 10, 1963 in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Kenneth C. Grater, Sr., and he was raised by his loving mother and step-father, Elaine D. (Yost) and Robert W. Eschbach. Ken was a 1981 graduate of Spring-Ford High School. He was a former employee of WAI Global, an inspection mechanic, and most recently a Certified Nursing Assistant at Eagleville Hospital for almost 20 years. Ken attended NorthPointe Community Church. He was an avid car lover, and was proud of his 1971 Chevelle nicknamed "Christine". He attended many local car shows and liked gazing at the older cars. He enjoyed playing the guitar and watching classic TV shows. Most of all, Ken loved spending time with his children and grandson, and his witty one-liners and jokes will be missed. Ken is survived by two children, Jared Grater, companion of Faith Hammer and Brooke Grater, companion of Joseph Wenrich; one grandson, Joseph C. Wenrich; half-brother, Robert Warren Eschbach, Jr.; and longtime family friend Tammy Neuman. Funeral and burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Royersford, PA. Condolences may be offered online at www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
