Luz Maria Rodriguez

Luz Maria Rodriguez, 70, of Bethlehem and a resident at the Rooney House, passed away suddenly on Wednesday evening, July 9, 2025 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born in Romero Villalba Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Cesario and Angela Rodriguez. She was a factory worker for many years in New York until retiring. She attended Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem. Survivors: She is survived by her daughters, Jajaira Sanchez and Yanira Sanchez, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was also 1 of 14 brothers and sisters. She was also preceded in death by her son, Emerito Sanchez Sr. on June 3, 2025 and he is survived by his sons Emerito Sanchez Jr. and Jovany Sanchez. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, followed by a Prayer Service at 11:00 AM all in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME 527 Center Street, Bethlehem. Burial will follow in Hellertown Union Cemetery The Prayer Service will be live-streamed.
