Margaret Harvey Obituary

Margaret R. "Peg" Harvey, 93, passed away peacefully at home on September 8, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born July 3, 1932 in Shippensburg, she was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth L. Harvey, M.D. with whom she enjoyed 58 years of marriage. She was the daughter of the late Vaughn and Anna (Shields) Richardson and step-mother Jane (Young) Richardson. Peg's loving family of children and grandchildren include, Anne (Don), David, and Karina Kilburn; David, (Grace) and Eileen Harvey; John (Rebecca), Rylan, and Quinn Harvey; Jane Harvey, and Tony, Molly, and Katie Gibbs. She graduated from Newville High School and received a teaching degree from Shippensburg State University. She taught third grade in the Philadelphia school system while her husband completed medical school at Temple University. Peg will be remembered at the Brubaker Funeral Home in Catasauqua, PA on Saturday, Oct 11, 2025 at 11 AM.
