Marie M. Krutsick

Marie M. "Mayme" Krutsick, 88, of Lansford, passed into her eternal rest on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at MapleShade Meadows Assisted Living in Nesquehoning. Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Hallahan) Krutsick and Stanley Krutsick. Marie was a graduate of Ss. Peter & Paul Grammar School in Lansford, Mount Alvernia High School in Reading and lastly Villanova University. As a dedicated teacher, in her early years, she taught in parochial schools in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Connecticut. She concluded her teaching as a Librarian at Oxford Area High School in Oxford, PA. Marie was a member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, Summit Hill. One of her passions was being a faithful follower and fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Villanova Wildcats. Surviving are her caregivers Fred Rook and his late wife Kathy of Massachusetts; Anne Marie Solarczyk, Dave, Allison, Josh and Jase Horvath all of Summit Hill; Dear and Cherished Friends, Debbie, Susie, Cindy, Betty, Carol Ann and Marie; as well as the entire staff of MapleShade Meadows and St. Luke's Hospice; numerous beloved Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Sister, Dolores B. Krutsick and Nephew, Stanley J. Krutsick. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, 462 W. Ludlow St., Summit Hill. Interment will follow at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Summit Hill. Calling Hours are on Tuesday from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Church. Contributions, in Marie's memory, may be made to the church or to MapleShade Meadows, 50 E.
