Matthew Hirsch Obituary

Matthew R. Hirsch, 31, of Bartonsville, passed away early Friday morning, August 15, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown. He was the husband of Kimber L. (Rohner) Hirsch with whom he spent 13 years together and four years of marriage. Born on September 17, 1993 in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of Robert and Karen (Lenkey) Hirsch of East Stroudsburg. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his eight month old daughter, Sadie Hirsch; two brothers, Andrew Hirsch (and wife Adriana) and Ryan Hirsch all of East Stroudsburg; grandparents, Frank Lenkey, and Nelson and Judy Hirsch all of Blairstown, NJ; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ann Jackson. A lifetime resident of Monroe County and dedicated member of the community, Matt was currently self-employed as "MRH General Contracting" and formerly employed with the East Stroudsburg Area School District maintenance department. Matt could fix just about anything, which made him the first person to call for so many. He was a dedicated boy-scout in his youth, earning Life rank. In his young adult years he served with the Marshalls Creek Fire Department and had recently become a member of the East Stroudsburg Elks Lodge. Matt enjoyed his Harley motorcycle, off-roading his Jeep, hunting and camping. He also enjoyed being in the company of his many amazing friends whom he shared countless wild, joyful and memorable times with. Road trips and traveling with his wife, daughter, and dog - Bowen, were a favorite pass-time. Matt was an amazing husband, son, friend and brother, but above all the best dad to his sweet girl. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, August 21st, from 3:00 to 6:00pm at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. The visitation time will conclude at 6:00PM with a funeral service officiated by Matt's cousin, Rev. Jack Tironi. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his wife, Kimber Hirsch, to assist with expenses and support of their daughters future.
