Michael Patrick Rockett

Michael Patrick Rockett, 68, of Wyndmoor, died on December 29, 2024 at Chestnut Hill Hospital. He was born in Norristown, PA on June 2, 1956 to the late Thomas and Eleanor (Narkiewicz) Rockett. Mike was a graduate of Upper Merion High School. He later served our country in the US Army. Mike was employed as a Carpenter and Painter for most of his life. In his younger days he played basketball in high school and in local recreation leagues. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, listening to classic rock, and taking walks with his dog Rocky. He was an avid fan of the Philly sports teams, and was known for his sense of humor, telling stories, and being a jokester. Michael is survived by his son Michael Rockett, Jr., his brother Bobby Rockett, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother Thomas Rockett. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation from 10-11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 516 Fayette St., Conshohocken.
