Nancy Davies Obituary

Nancy G. Davies, 73, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025 in her sister's home. She was the companion of William Henry. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Mary L. (Kemmerer) Davies. Before retiring in 2007, she worked for 37 years at PPL Electric in the computer center. She was a member of the former St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Allentown, where she sang on the choir for many years. She also sang with the Bach Choir. Mostly, she will be remembered for her love of crocheting, especially following the online program of Tinna, a textile artist from Iceland. Survivors: daughters Abigail M. Strasser and her companion Dain Rymdeko of Allentown, Meghan A. Strasser; grandson Caden Strasser; sisters Jane, wife of Wayne Garnjost and Carolyn, wife of Jeffery Skinner, both of Allentown. Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 12, at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St. Allentown. Memorials can be considered in her memory to Susan G. Komen or an animal charity of one's choice.
