Nancy Snyder Obituary

Nancy Jean (Crawshaw) Snyder, 71, passed away at her home in Douglassville, PA, on May 17, 2025. She was the wife of the late Richard Snyder, with whom she shared 31 years of marriage before his passing in 2003. Born in Ephrata, PA, on August 12, 1953, Nancy was the daughter of the late Billy G. Crawshaw and Eleanor L. (Adams) Crawshaw. Nancy graduated from Garden Spot High School in New Holland, PA, and devoted 29 years of service as a Clerk Typist 2 at Graterford Prison. She enjoyed shopping, trying her luck at the casino, and spending time with her beloved pets. Above all, she cherished making memories with her grandchildren. Nancy had a generous heart and was a proud supporter of her local fire company and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She is lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters-in-law, Mitchell and Amanda Snyder, and Vincent and Erin Snyder; her grandchildren, Lexi, Katelyn, Warren, Cody, and Peyton; and her sister, Sally Hackman. In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, David Crawshaw, and her brother-in-law, Michael Hackman. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N.
