P. Keeley Obituary
P. Robert Keeley Jr., age 94, of East Vincent, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 in the Manatawny Manor, East Coventry. Born on December 25, 1930, in East Vincent, he was the son of the late Emma Lydia (Powell) and Paul Robert Keeley Sr. He was the husband of the late Dolores V. "Dolly" (Tyson) Keeley, to whom he also married on Christmas Day. A Class of 1949 graduate of the former Spring City High School, Bob worked as a local dairy farmer and gentleman farmer for many years before his employment with Jones Motors, Schwan's Oil Company, and Sonoco Paper Company. Later in life he drove a school bus for the Owen J. Roberts School District. Born on Christmas day in the residence where he would spend 93 of his 94 years, Bob had been a longtime member of Brownback's United Church of Christ serving on the Consistory as a Deacon and an Elder. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies and later in life would have been lost without his television. Most importantly, Bob was a kind, laid back, and gentle man to whom family was very important. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family time at the pool. No matter what, Bob always put his family first, working non-stop for the betterment of his family. Along with his wife, he always made time to babysit or help get his grandchildren to their activities. Bob is survived by his children: P. Robert (Jill) Keeley III, Peter R. (Gina) Keeley, and Velma B. (Justin) Valbert; grandchildren: P. Robert IV, Lindsay, Alicia, Ashley, Alexis, Emma, and Keeley; and great-grandchildren: Abigail, JP, Mia, and Philip. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Evelyn Shive and Betty Latshaw.
