Patrick Smith Obituary

Patrick T. Smith 76, of South Whitehall, passed away September 21, 2025. He was the husband of Judith H. Smith. Born in San Bernardino, Calif. on December 12, 1948, he was the son of Harold & Veronica Smith. Pat was predeceased by his sister Arlene Bernhard.

Patrick graduated from Emmaus High School in 1967 and received his BS at Temple University. Patrick worked in NYC as a graphic designer then moved to Allentown to join Air Products as the Production and Graphics Supervisor. He worked at Rodale Press as a Manager of various operations in the Book Division.

Patrick had extraordinary talent for design and building of his home. Many times you could see him starting a new project with his reciprocating saw, ladder, and hammer, walking on the roof, hoisting up the pergola, building a pond or adding a bedroom. He could do anything. Patrick loved cats, the band "Little Feat", his Mazda convertible, Football, handkerchiefs and ice cream. He was an extremely talented photographer.

He is survived by his wife Judi, stepdaughter Jessica Higgins, niece Tess Bernhard and nephew Spencer Bernhard.
