Robert D. Rymshaw Sr

Robert D. Rymshaw, Sr, formerly of Reading, PA passed away peacefully at Edenbrook North in Williamsport. PA, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on December 29, 1930 in Reading, he was the son of the late Romuald J. "Jerry" and the late Catherine M. (nee Fry) Rymshaw. He was the widower of the late Carole (nee Frymoyer) Rymshaw. Bob was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and the Industrial Management Institute. He was employed by the Engineering Bureau of the City of Reading for more than three decades before his retirement. He is survived by his son, Robert David (Deborah) Rymshaw of Gananoque, Ontario and his daughter, Vicky K. (Chris) Rymshaw of Millsboro, Delaware, Three grandchildren, Stephanie M. (Arthur) Andrus of Williamsport, Daniel J. Tiffany) Rymshaw of Leesport, and Michael P. (Maggie) Rymshaw of Statesville, NC; plus 7 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. In addition to his wife and his parents, Bob also was predeceased by two brothers, Richard J. Rymshaw, Sr and Clinton A. Rymshaw; and his grandson, David S. Rymshaw. He was a Civil War buff and visited many battlefields, riding on his motorcycle well into his 80's. He enjoyed watching baseball and football and was interested in his family history and genealogy. Friends are invited to visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 AM followed by a celebration of Bob's life at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 20th, from the Sanders Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 1501 North 11th St, Reading.
