Sharon A Moyer

Sharon A. Moyer, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on the 28th of April, 2025, at the age of 78, in Ransomville, New York. Born on August 21, 1946, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Sharon was the beacon of warmth and love in the lives of all who knew her. Sharon grew up in the town of her birth, Bethlehem, where she attended Liberty High School. Her early years were filled with the loving guidance of her late parents, Quintus C. Long and Bertha (Haldaman) Long, who predeceased her. Sharon found her lifelong partner in Carl S. Moyer, with whom she shared 30 years of devoted marriage until his passing. Her professional life was spent welcoming guests as a receptionist at a local hotel, a role that suited her gracious and friendly demeanor. She was known for her unwavering smile and the ability to make anyone feel at home, traits that extended well beyond her work environment. Sharon's true joy was her family, and nothing brought her more happiness than the time spent surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her loving daughter, Marci L. Emery, and son-in-law, Shawn, of Ransomville, NY. Her brother, Arthur Long, and his wife, Gloria, of Bethlehem Township, also remain to honor Sharon's memory. Her legacy continues through her grandsons, Mikael Klotz, Kristofer Reichard and his wife Gillian, and Joshua Emery, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Evan, Destiny, A.J., Lyla, and Hestia. Each of them carries a piece of Sharon's love and spirit within them. Sharon is predeceased by her siblings: Richard Long and Gloria Gangewere. Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 6 P.M. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 4 P.M. until time of the service.
