Teresa Alexiou Obituary

Teresa B. Alexiou, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Community Heart & Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on December 23, 1955 to Domingo and Florencia (Bayani) Sampang in the Philippines.

Teresa was a homemaker who loved cooking, gardening, and looking after her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo and looking for bargains. Teresa attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church of Indianapolis. Teresa will be remembered for her love. She had a way of making everyone around her feel special. Her love is the legacy she is leaving behind.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Taso Alexiou; daughter, Allison (Chris) Inman; sons, Chris Alexiou and Alex (Mackenzie) Alexiou; 4 grandchildren, Taylor, Lucas, Wyatt and Emma; 6 sisters, Priscilla, Nerissa, Susan, Thess, Dolly and Cristy; and 1 brother, Joselito.

In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her brother, Carling.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers. Private graveside services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
